Friends and Brethren, the men of Dover Lodge were both overjoyed and humbled today. Dover Lodge has received the 2009 Ritual Award for First Place in our inspection degree for the 22nd Masonic District! Our thanks to all of the Brethren who participated in the degree work, as well as to all of the Brethren who give so much of their time and energy to Dover Lodge. This award is for all of us, and reflects the pride in Masonry that is such a special part of Dover Lodge.

We thank the visiting Brethren who gave us their spiritual and Brotherly support by being present during our inspection. Your encouragement is the very source of our energy.

Thanks as well go to our inspecting District Deputy Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Behner. Your guidance has helped light the way to this honor.

And of course, lest we fail to make mention: three cheers for our Worshipful Master!!!

Dover Lodge is a special place for all of its members, and we hope that our visitors also find it a welcoming shelter in this world of uncertainty. We continue to be approached by men who are investigating for themselves what being a Mason truly means. We hope that this award is seen by those men for what it truly represents – our sincere and fervent desire to make good men better.
