As our summer begins to wind down, our thoughts turn to that time of year when the temperatures begin to fall along with the brightly-colored leaves. Want to have some fun as we prepare for those cooler days? Coming up this October is Dover Lodge’s First Annual Chili and Soup Cook-Off! Please join us for a taste of Dover Lodge’s chili and soup competition, with a panel of gastronomic judges and prizes for first and second place in both the chili and soup categories. The festivities will take place on Sunday October 23rd 2011 at 5:00pm. Come heat up with a spicy chili, or soothe yourself with a warm soup to tickle the tastebuds.

Want to submit an entry? Bring along your best-recipe chili or soup, or both to increase your chances of victory! We’d recommend using crock-pots to keep your entry warm. Contact us here to let us know which category you wish to enter (or both!).
