The Brothers of Dover Lodge are embarking on a trip to the Detroit Masonic Temple! This magnificent edifice saw its cornerstone laid in 1922 and was completed 4 years later. It stands as one of the most awesome structures in our fraternity – and we’ve been fortunate enough to secure a private tour! Please join us on Saturday November 12th 2011 for this amazing journey.

 

The schedule of the day is as follows:

8:45a – meet in the Dover Lodge parking lot for carpool arrangement
9:00a – depart for Detroit, with rest stops along the way
1:00p – begin the private tour
3:30p – depart for Dover Lodge
7:30p – Special Dover Lodge education session – We will continue our study of the “Most Secret” degrees as recorded by Berage in 1766A.D. with degrees 4 and 5. Brothers who have seen the first three will tell you that these lost degrees are not to be missed! They have been painstakingly translated from French, and shed an amazing light on Masonic thought in the 1700s. The session and dinner will be served at Dover Lodge.
