Change is coming to Dover Lodge! Earlier this month, the Brethren of Dover Lodge held their annual meeting and elected a new slate of officers for the 2013 Masonic Year. In celebration of these newly-elected and appointed officers, Dover Lodge is holding its 139th Annual Installation ceremony on Saturday December 8th 2012 at 7:30pm. Brother Masons, their families, and their friends are invited to witness the ceremony. It will be held at Westlake Masonic Temple, located at 29500 Center Ridge Road in Westlake Ohio.

Every November Masonic Lodges under the Grand Lodge of Ohio hold an election of officers. After being elected by anonymous vote the Worshipful Master-elect then appoints several Brethren to various positions of office within the Lodge. These elected and appointed officers are then “installed” (officially activated in their duties) in a meeting following the election. This “Installation Meeting” can either be a private or a public one.
