Brethren, on Saturday July 25th from 11a-1p we will be holding our Lodge Open House! This is a public-facing event. We will be serving our visitors free hot dogs (as well as our attending Brethren). We look forward to giving the public a glimpse into our Fraternity and have been advertizing this Open House in the local paper for the past two weeks.
Dress is business casual for the Brethren. Please come out and make a good showing of Dover Lodge to the public!

Brethren, just a reminder that Lodge Cleanup Day is this coming Saturday July 18th from 10a-12p. This year’s work will be coordinated by our Junior Steward Bro. Davis (as our WM will be conferring the One Day Class at the same time), who is preparing a list of tasks and needed supplies. Please come out and lend a hand, as this cleanup day is in preparation for our Open House next week!

Dover Lodge’s own Worshipful Master will be once again conducting the Antimasonry Roundtable! This time the event will be hosted by Quarry Lodge, which is located at 366 Eastland Rd in Berea Ohio. The event will be held on Saturday June 20th 2015, starting with breakfast at 8:30am. The program will also include a served lunch and wrap up in the early afternoon. Do not miss this highly-acclaimed program!
Reservations are being taken until June 12th 2015, so register now! Reservations are accepted by Quarry’s Brother Doug Bort by email (guntherman33@yahoo.com). Cost per attendee is $12. Master Masons only please!

Brethren all, please come support our Grand Lady’s Charity at an all-you-can-eat Pasta Dinner fundraiser! The dinner will be held on Sunday May 17th 2015 from 4pm to 6pm at John W. Barkley Lodge (23844 Lorain Rd. in North Olmsted). This event is being held by your Cuyahoga County Blue Lodge Association (Facebook page) in an effort to raise funds for the Grand Lady’s Charity, which is for child abuse prevention. Reservations are $8 per adult and $5 per child 10 years old and under. Please contact WB Carter to attend!

Brethren, please join me in mourning the passing of a Brother of Dover Lodge. Norman E. Haslop put down his working tools and passed to the Celestial Lodge Above on April 13, 2015. Masonic services will be held at Murray Funeral Home, 173 South Main Street in Creston OH on Friday April 17 2015 at 7:00pm. Please come out to pay your last respects to our fallen Brother.

Saturday August 8th 2015 is Masonic Day at Cedar Point! Simply show your dues card on entry and you will be able to purchase an entry ticket for only $36. Brethren are encouraged to show their pride by wearing Masonic shirts or caps (but hold on to your hats on the coasters!).
